Faith Unshaken by Quake

The steeple clock at Port-au-Prince's stopped at 4:53, the same hour that the earthquake struck Haiti one week ago. Even when the church gates were closed, and doors shuttered the Haitians carry their faith with them, which grew much stronger throuhg the recent quake. No matter where they are parks, backyards, streets, no matter where they are their prayers are heard. These sessions would be held as early as 4am and they would pray and sing aloud.

i think that it is amazing how they just gather into groups, including everyone, no one is left out. Those people are amazing people. They give so much thanks to the people who helped. Eventhough they were a poor country they still have good attitudes and also their fatih.

Helpin Orphans Find New Homes

The United States are ignoring the appropriate paper work for Haitian orphans to leave the counry to fund new homes. All the children had perspective pending parents already lined up before the earthquake on tuesday putting the paperwork on hold due to an emergency basis. 300 children have pending parents in America, 6 had already arrived in Florida by Sunday night, met by there adoptive parents with open arms.

Its amazing how fast the families were ready to take in the children. those kid are living the dream right now by coming to America and having the chance to have a good and successfull life. They are also very luck to have families now that are gunn be able to take care of them and love them how they should be taken care of and loved.

3 Pulled From Rubble

3 peopl were rescued sunday from a rubble of a grocery store. The store was housed in a three-story building when it collapsed on Tuesdays 7.0 magnitude earthquake. A team of New York police and fire departments searchand rescuse teams , as well as a team from Miami were working to free those from the ruins.find
i think that it is very good that lots of people from the US are willing to go over there and help save lives. we are making a differnce in so many peoples live! I wish i could go over there and help them clean up.

Earthequake victims in pain, and grasping for life had to watch doctors and nurses walk away from a field hospital Friday night after a Belgian medical team evcuated the area, saying it was a concern about security. this left Sanjay Gupta, the CNN Chief Medical Correspondent as the only one at the hospital to help the vicims through the night. From talking to the doctors, CNN reporters initally thought that it was the United Nations who evacuated the doctors from the hospital, but later found out it was Belgians Chief Coordinator Geert Gijs who pulled the doctors out for the night.
I think that that was a really stupic decision by Geert. I just dont get why someone would leave a bunch of people who are very badly hurt! But thankfully the CNN doctor was there to take over the responsiblity of caring for the victims who were in dier need of the help, and attention.

Obama Approved by Americans??

America is giving Obama a split decision in his first year in office, according to a national poll releases Tueday. Forty-eight percent said that Obamas first year was a failure while forty-seven percent said that it has been a success. Although he does get good ratings on foreign policys and national security issues. Unfortunately for Obama domestic issues are far more important than public or foreign policy issues. But over all in his one year in office so far has been a good one.

i think that Obama had been doing good in this past year. he has a lot of good ideas that i think will probaly go into action pretty soon.

Cold in Florida

Well last week was a record book coldness in Florida. Temperatures were hovering under freezing temps. With the below freezing temps ruined millions of dollars of citrus fruit trees. The trees can only stand up to four hours in temps below 20 degrees.
i think with this happening the price of orange juice and all tropical fruit products are going to have a price tag that is going through the roof!

Baby Gone Missing

The day after Christmas a 8 month old baby went missing. It happened after a long layover in an airport. The mother of the baby wanted to give it up her baby for adoption and a couple she met and was talking to for awhile was interested in adopting. But there was one small problem, well actually kind of a big problem. The mother didnt have custody of the baby the father did. And just days after the father says no he is not going to give up the baby, it mysteriously vanishes. And the police arrested the mother on suspicion of custodial interference, she is also refusing to tell police where the baby is.
i think that it was really stupid of the mother to say that her child was up for adoption without checking with the father first. and also not telling police where the baby is, is also dumd because if she thinks the baby deserves a better place to live its not going to happen where ever the baby is now.

Balloon Boy's A Hoax?

This article is about the Heenes family and their hoax, with the little boy suppoedly was in the balloon drifting acoss the sky. Robert has recently pleaded not guilty. he also stated that he was doing that to save his wife or she would get deported back to Japan. when the little boy said it was all for a show he wasnt saying the balloon was for a show, the little bay, Falcon, said that a Japanese cameraman asked him to show him how to get into the attic for a show, and that what Falcon meant when he said it was all for a show.

If you were to ask me i think it is a hoax. it was obviously set up, Robert or the mother didnt even seem that upset when the boy was said to be in the balloon. the way he is pleading not guilty just to save his wife is kind of a gimmy that i was a hoax or he would have stated that he was pleading not guilty because he was lagitamently not guilty.
